How we do it
Diagnosis
Using ethnographic techniques (such as in-depth interviews, local observations and content analysis of relevant sources), we identify the “relevant environment” (key stakeholders) and their relationship with the organization at different moments in time. Based on this analysis, we set up a “risk map” that visualizes the opportunities and challenges the organization is facing (or is likely to face) and the skills that the organization has in place to respond to this reality.
Design
From this diagnosis, we work to co-design a Corporate Affairs Strategy with senior members of the organization. Simultaneously, we co-develop the narrative and Corporate Speech, thus providing a balanced perspective of the underlying philosophy and values of the company, which determine its actions and constitutes the essence of its communication.
Installation
We establish a model for the implementation of management skills that will allow the company to act strategically and effectively in dealing with its “relevant environment” (key stakeholders). This involves determining the systems of coordination and development of essential tasks, as well as monitoring and reporting to Corporative Government. Taken together, this new set of skills, structures and procedures constitutes the function of Corporate Affairs, a nervous system that spans the entire organization.
